Our activity focused on comparing the number of private and government advertisements in three different newspapers. We also assessed whether the news articles followed the 5W1H format.
Newspaper A featured two government advertisements but no private ones. Its news articles were well-written and informative.
Newspaper B presented a contrast, with nine government and seventeen private advertisements, indicating a high degree of commercialization. Its news articles were also well-written and followed the 5W1H format.
Newspaper C struck a balance with six government and seven private advertisements.
Through this activity, we learned to critically analyze newspapers, understanding the structure of news articles and the role of advertisements in the print media industry
