Vaishnav, Virendra V. 2017. Life Behind The Bars, Olympia Publishers. Vaishnav received second prize in Tinka Tinka India Awards in 2015. The award was given to him under the POETRY section. He had also submitted one painting depicting life in jail. A former journalist and cartoonist, Vaishnav was lodged in Surat Jail, Gujarat, at that time. The media coverage followed by accolades helped him in getting his book published. He has acknowledged the role of Tinka Tinka Foundation in his profile printed in the book.
