A) Look for practically noted 5Ws and 1H (what, when, where, why, who and how) in the newspaper articles across all the pages of the newspaper
B) Identification of the attribution of various newspaper articles
C) Note down the total number of pages and adversitiesments and point out your observations

the students had gathered various widespread circulating newspapers as well as a numerous amount of local newspaper to include diversity in the assignment and throughout the class timings we were all engaged in examination of the points mentioned above
LEARNING OUTCOMES
From my observation I learnt about how the writing style of one newspaper differs alot of the writing style of the other, I learnt the practicality of the 5Ws and 1H rule in newspaper and how even in some cases it’s implementable to not include 1W in rare exceptional cases and the story still works out.
Newspaper A is quite a popularly circulating Newspaper with 24 pages and 6 advertisements comprising on all it’s pages. this showcases their dedication towards them standing as a true medium mostly focused of news circulation rather than focusing on the commercialization of their Newspaper.
Newspaper B had 8 pages and included 21 advertisements with 3 government campaigning ads. however despite having quite a number of advertisements in their Newspaper. I really liked the fact that they comprised all their advertisement on the span of 2 pages rather than scattering them on various pages.
overall I learnt the dedication of teamwork and how points sometimes missed by you are noticed by your Teammates. I also learnt how to apply my theoretical knowledge into practical use by in real life implementation of the rules of journalism. Most importantly I learnt the proper implementation of the “Who” aspect in the 5Ws 1H which can get pretty confusing to identify in some cases but I gladly overcame that hurdle under the guidance of vartika mam who enlightened me with the knowledge of this topic.
Ultimately it was a fulfilling and learning activity for me and I hope to learn more such enthralling and practical concepts under the guidance of Vartika ma’am!
