Gandhi wasn’t a fan of advertising as we usually think of it because he felt it pushed people to buy things they didn’t really need, feeding into materialism. He believed in living simply and focusing on essentials. However, he did see the value in spreading good messages. Gandhi used his own form of “advertising” to promote ideas like non-violence and self-reliance, but always in a way that aimed to uplift people and inspire change, not to sell products or encourage unnecessary spending.
