Credibility is key in a newsroom. The citizens of a country place their trust in the news houses and therefore consume the content they produce. They consume the news presented by news houses with the belief that the news is coming from a credible, unbiased and valid source after a thorough research. Unfortunately, with the widespread usage of social media these days, a large amount of unverified news is also presented to the consumers which is not what they signed up for. Credibility is built on accuracy, objectivity, and transparency. By upholding these principles, news houses can earn the trust of its viewers and deliver reliable information.
