A community newspaper is a publication that serves a specific community’s information needs. Sometimes we feel lost in the whirlpool of information and a community newspaper plays the role of segregating information pertaining to a community and group of people. They play a very important role in providing local coverage and integrating national and international news with local importance, They recognise their role as stakeholders in the community and work to build and celebrate it by promoting community development and welfare.
