If a newsroom is difficult to tag as per it’s leanings, that is the litmus test for the newsroom being considered credible. It is not self adulation but the audience and events that give credibility to a newsroom. To stay on that sharp edge a newsroom needs to take responsibility for what is being reported. Needless to say the context, human decency during debates are fundamental.
It might be difficult at times to live up to those standards every second, but it is indispensable, existential for a newsroom to survive with a conscience.
