The condition of prisoners in different prisons in India is indeed very saddening. Many prisons in India are overcrowded and there are no proper places for the prisoners to sleep. From some of the articles by Vartika Mam we can realise that there are many women inmates who are staying in extremely bad conditions along with their children. As mentioned in the article, prison reform is not something that we can achieve overnight.
