Television has been an integral part of my life, weaving a tapestry of memories, emotions, and shared experiences. As I reflect on its impact, I can’t help but reminisce about the days when I was growing up, engrossed in shows that left an indelible mark on my heart.

During my childhood, I eagerly tuned in to shows like “Engineer This” on ZeeQ, which ignited my curiosity and love for science and technology. “Akbar Birbal” on Discovery Kids taught me valuable life lessons through historical tales, while the adventures of “Chhota Bheem” and enchanting Barbie movies allowed my imagination to soar.

The significance of television in my life intensified during the quarantine period. Shows like “Ganga Upanishad” and “Buniyad” became not just sources of entertainment but lifelines to the outside world, offering comfort in uncertain times.

In 2011, our family welcomed our first TV just in time for the ICC Cricket World Cup finals between India and Sri Lanka. The elation we felt when India emerged victorious created an everlasting bond with that television set, transforming it into a symbol of togetherness and shared celebrations.

Television has evolved with technology, but its power to evoke emotions, foster connections, and shape our memories remains timeless. It has been a companion through the various stages of my life, from childhood wonder to quarantine solace, and I’m grateful for the moments it has etched in my heart.
