Citizen journalism is journalism in which people do not possess any degree but still practise it on distinct sites like YOUTUBE, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER (X) and so on. It was started by OH- YEON-OH when he stated that “every citizen is a reporter”.It is also known as “collaborative media, street journalism, democratic journalism, participatory journalism, guerilla journalism.The main disadvantage of it is that sometime their news do not have authenticity and that’s why if some fake news get circulated by them then they faces lot of problem as legal action could be taken against them.
