During one of our Ioj practical class,the class was given the task of analyzing a newspaper and finding out the various concepts and terms that are mentioned in it,that is a part of our syllabus.We were also asked to find out newer information and concepts that is related to journalism.The class was divided into few groups of four and five students.At the end of the task we were called on to present our content and explain the task result.This assignment was extremely useful since it gave us students an opportunity to properly analyse and understand the different contexts and nature of a newspaper and it’s various elements.It helped us to breakdown several sessions of the newspaper into various groups and frame different forms of news reports.As journalism students,this task helped us to view and examine a newspaper in a journalistic perspective.And since it was a group project we got to discuss and debate various things and had a quite fun and productive time.
