On the occasion of World Mental Health day, the students of LSR had the opportunity to be a part of a session organised in collaboration with UNDP with none other than Sanjana Sanghi, our alumni from the Journalism Department as one of the panelists. Besides having such a wonderful session with all the amazing panelists, discussing and promoting mental health, it was such a treat to listen about the Magic of LSR, and the moments that Sanjana lived here.
But the best part about the evening was getting to meet her personally, all thanks to Vartika Ma’am. She gave her best to make sure that all the Journalism students get to meet her and have their pictures clicked with her. After a lot of hustle to get away from the students of other departments trying to get into our pictures, and Sanjana finally tricking them into believing that she has left, we finally had our moment of clicking group pictures and selfies with her! And did I mention how sweet she was throughout the time to agree to whatever we requested without having any celebrity ego! I am so glad to have my first ever picture with a celebrity who is so sweet and gorgeous ! I always regretted not being able to catch even a glimpse of her while she was in my hometown for such a long period to shoot for her blockbuster movie, Dil Bechara, that too in locations so close to my house. But as they say, patience has its own reward! And these words actually turned reality for me today!
