By the end of the first month, I had somewhat settled down in the college. Having grown accustomed with the campus and people around, I started feeling “belonged”, indulging in the numerous activities taking place in the campus every day, quite literally.
With the numerous societies releasing their application forms throughout the month, followed by rigorous selection rounds, my very first learning in college was to accept rejections. And it was tough. While I did get into some socities, I also got rejected from some which was honestly a huge setback. It gave me inferiority complex at times, making me realize how I am surrounded with so many brilliant and creative minds, giving me a little insight into what kind of people am I going to compete with in future to sustain in my field.
Every day at LSR is a new day where I get to interact with some amazing women from different walks of life and get to learn something new, not just inside the classroom but outside too. Really looking forward to make the most out of my stay here!
