Pictures act as a medium of communication. Each photograph should have a clear subject. It should have a visual impact by focusing the viewer’s attention on the subject. It should be simple with no extra information or clutter. You should be able to artistically judge and evaluate the picture and deliver the information on the public judgment of what is a good frame and what a cluttered frame is must.we should also focus on the tragedy the picture can cause. Image evoke immediate emotional responses from viewers and they can have tremendous impact. With well chosen words , visual messages combine to educate, entertain and persuade. What would create the desired impact and what will mislead should be the major criteria. You should not conform to the traditional norms and try to be responsible for the ideas that pictures create. You have the ability to inspire many and break stereotypes. While selecting pictures for print media , you should also keep in mind to place pictures which are related to your concerned subject then only the viewers would be able to build a connection and gain curiosity.
