Print journalism is the practice of investigation and reporting of events in vast varieties of printed form with the aim to inform the broad audience.
Print journalism includes variety of writings like newspaper, magazines, journals, tabloids etc.
These all are very good in drawing attention of the audience. As newspapers are read all over the world which can be accessible at home and newsstand with an advantage of being affordable. Secondly, Magazines offer topics like fashion, food, sports, finance and lifestyle. They are either weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually published and then are distributed globally.
Third one, Journals are like a valuable find that is full of information covering different areas.
Next, Tabloids focus on sensationalistic narratives, gossip and political events, which are comparatively smaller than other news and have a lot of writing in bold to catch the eye.
These all proves that print journalism is super cool and still in vogue today.
Now the world is gradually becoming tech-savvy and each and everything is available on internet. Either from east to west or from north to south the whole globe’s information is provided over news channel and internet but the shortcoming is truthfulness and exaggeration about the event. Moreover, whatever we find on social media or internet is just information and on the other hand, newspapers and magazines has been filtered and processed by journalists which increases its credibility than that of digital media. The worthy features that print journalism has its durability and attraction. It can be read over and over again, wherever the reader wants to read, and keep it forever as a heritage as well. Print journalism comes out with all the fact details and it is very trustworthy as there is no false news and everything is acknowledged and authenticated.
