When I was a kid, I used to see people sitting in the library, studying their stuff, reading books apart from their syllabus and reading newspapers and marking terminologies in it. I always used to wonder that how one can spend half of their day in the Library and studying for so many hours.
Now that I’m mature enough to know the importance and value of the Library (books, journals and newspapers), I have an access to whatever I feel the need of getting known about.
Being a college student and that of journalism department, I need to number of assignments and research work for which library helps me a lot. If one needs to publish an article, he/she can be aided by library, it also helps one to improve their vocabulary powers as journalism requires good communication skills and strong vocabulary. Journalist is a person who needs to be well aware of everything and library is the place which connects us with being aware, acknowledged and educated. Hence, the relation between a journalist and the library is inseparable.
