Journalism as a discipline incorporates practical work that instills in you a fervour for the field. “Apni Akhbar” was one such practical assignment that made us appreciate the hard work and efforts that go into the making of a newspaper. Making a newspaper is no easy task, from preparing the content, to organising the layout- the ticking clock has to be pleased! It also brought into light the importance of collaboration and compromise, two skills that enhance team work. For a newspaper to efficiently address its audience, the content needs to be organised succinctly. Thus it also taught us which leads should be prioritised, and how there are different sections for each beat.
