Episode 11 of Kissa Khaki Ka, revolves around the story of woman Sub Inspector Saroj Singh. Saroj was born in a farmer family in Rajasthan. With 5 sisters and one brother, she had to struggle hard to reach school and continue with her education. She excelled in both education and sports and won more than 100 gold medals during her school days. She won a prestigious scholarship and entered the University of Rajasthan. Such was her journey that she became a source of inspiration both for her family and her entire village. Today, her husband and her sister are also part of Delhi Police.

Run by Delhi Police, Kissa Khaki Ka is the first podcast series by any police force in India. Started as an innovative initiative by Delhi Police Commissioner Shri Rakesh Asthana, these podcasts have gained immense popularity since its beginning in January this year. Kissa Khaki Ka features the tales of crimes, investigations, hearts and humanity. This series is scripted and voiced by prison reformer and media educator Dr. Vartika Nanda. She heads the Department of Journalism in Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University.
