What is the podcast about?

Delhi Police Podcasts aims to create a new bond between Delhi Police and citizens. According to Shri Rakesh Asthana, Delhi Police Commissioner “The relationship between the police and the citizens is one of constant engagement. When in need, people look up to us for support, help, lending our ears to their problems, stories. Likewise, we also look up to them for suggestions and guidance. Our podcast, Kissa Khaki Ka, takes our relationship to the next level where we share our stories with people with an open heart. It helps grow more mutual trust and bonding, thereby enabling better policing. The Capital’s police is new media savvy, even as we are available through traditional communications channels. We are ever ready to rise to the new age of communication needs.”

During the Coronavirus pandemic, despite Delhi Police’s own 17,000 men getting infected and 79 laying down their lives while protecting citizens, from the forefront of this health crisis, their morale is still high. They work selflessly with the view to showcase the patriotic spirit inside them and assist the citizens. The podcast had special mention of cops working relentlessly for the safety and security of the city.
With ‘Delhi Police Week’ coming in February, the new initiative of the podcast promises to bring police and citizens closer and further strengthen their bond.
