SUHANI
I’ve spent two months at LSR, and like last month, time seems to zoom by. I worry I’ll feel the same way when I write the ‘last month at LSR’ essay for Vartika ma’am. This month wasn’t as exciting as the last; it was busy, stressful, and a bit overwhelming. I’m still trying to figure out how to adapt to this daily college routine. It’s not just about what happens on campus; it’s also about my experiences during my daily commute on public transport. Two months of navigating this journey solo, spending four hours daily with different crowds, having people with different faces, voices, tones & oddly body odour also, I can’t forget those combative aunties who turn to tooth & nails everyday just for the “ladies seat” they deseve and some punks getting on the Back without taking tickets.
Well, coming back to college, I’m still trying to find the best way to study. College studying is a different ball game from what I knew in school. LSR is welcoming and warm, but I do miss my school. Striking a balance between fun and serious study is a work in progress, but spicing up my outfits this month has been a mood lifter. Dressing up each day keeps my enthusiasm for college high. Looking forward to what the next month brings, hoping to make it fancy in my ‘3 months at LSR’ essay.
