The first thing that comes to my mind while writing this is the assignment that we got last month; to write about the ‘magic’ of LSR. And here we are writing about our experience of last month. It’s simply unbelievable how fast time goes by. It actually flies!
While my brain is still trying to process how it’s a been month since college started, it somehow seems like I’ve been here for a long time. It’s as ironic as it sounds. I still remember how on the first day everyone was anxious about everything. Oh, how many times we were lost and couldn’t find the right room for the lectures! The first few days were exciting but also hectic. Not being able to find a good friend is a nightmare to every fresher. But I was lucky enough to get such good friends whom I feel comfortable with. I’m so grateful for being able to become a part of this family. It might be a little too early to say it, but LSR already feels like home now. The trees, the buildings, the canteen, the classes, all have become a part our life and will remain so for the next 4 years. I never thought that I’ll be comfortable staying away from home but the fact already a month has passed since I’ve arrived here makes me glad. The diversity of LSR is so vivid as people from different parts of the country have come together to experience the magic of LSR. The beauty of LSR and the ‘beauties’ of LSR are both very real. Being surrounded by these amazing women is not something that you get to experience everywhere.
Our journey in LSR is just beginning and there are yet so many things to do, many friends to make, many people to meet and many assignments to finish. I’m already convinced that the next 4 years are going to be amazing.
