The book, ‘Media Laws and Ethics’ written by Dr. Vartika Nanda is an excellent attempt to make its readers understand the practice of ethics and the need to abide by laws of a country. Dr. Nanda is a renowned name in the media world. She is also the teacher in charge of the Journalism Department at the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College For Women, University of Delhi.

As someone who has worked as a media professional, thereby well versed with all the intricacies, including the harsh realities and truths of the industry, Dr. Vartika Nanda comes across as an amazing instructor. At no point, will a reader find the book as a difficult or complicated read, courtesy the lucid explanation and the choice of words used. The book encompasses a lot of case studies to make different phenomenon easy to understand.
