Credibility in news
Credibility refers to the believability of a source or message.
It is the cross reference of information that done in order to terminate
any problems in the content. Credibility of news sources is enhanced with
a good machinery of care dedicated to correcting errors and
promoting accuracy, a transparent system of citing the medium for obtaining
the information and the expertise of journalists with strong ethics and moral
values. The misuse of disseminating wrong information at such
a large level can break the pillar of trust between the media and the
audience.
