“Internet can become the wings that will allow the educational world to fly farther & faster than ever before”
9 a.m. in the morning, I wake up, rubbing my eyes & checking my whatsapp. What if today’s class is canceled or delayed?
In an era of technology, it is the internet, which decides our fate. Just because kids know how to use SNAPCHAT & INSTAGRAM, doesn’t mean they don’t know how to use QUORA AND INSHORTS to enhance their learning
From having online meeting sessions, to dissemination of all important information to accessing e-books; internet undoubtedly has a major impact on the students & also their education. Internet is the most recent form of mass communication, and as journalism student, I know its value & the fact that it’s an asset if used properly. One can use google to copy & paste the entire content without putting in their own intelligence, while others can take a fair idea and then build upon it. As for me, internet, surely is a tool to carry out my research activity, find journals, newspapers, E-books.
At the same time, it comes with a lot of consequences, health hazards being one of many. Continuously using social media, we begin to compare our behind the scenes with other people’s instagram reels which is only a part of their life & not the entire truth. The over-use of internet has made us over-dependent on it as well. There’s barely anything we can do without the aid of internet.
