Neutrality in Journalism refers to conveying news and information without actually giving a specific limelight to a particular side, party or situation. One of the sole aims of journalism is to maintain neutrality in every news, disregarding the fact of what the journalists think about the whole situation. Neutrality means to be in the middle of the situation rather than being tilted toward a particular side that is to report news in an unbiased , impartial manner. There will be times when a journalist needs to report a situation where the ideology directly contradicts that of the journalists , here comes the responsibility of the journalists to stick to their professionalism and report in an unbiased manner to the public. A good journalist should always leave the responsibility of choosing sides in a situation to the public by not imposing any ideologies on them.
