A month spent at Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) was a truly transformative journey. The campus exuded a palpable sense of energy and inclusivity that made each day exciting. Attending lectures by distinguished professors not only broadened my knowledge but also ignited a lifelong passion for learning. The numerous cultural events, including Barbie day, Teachers day and Onam celebrations, were a revelation, showcasing the college’s vibrant spirit and artistic creativity.
In the midst of it all, I found myself forging strong bonds with fellow students over iced tea sessions in the Nescafe. Those moments of camaraderie and laughter were as refreshing as the beverages themselves. Evenings were often occupied with society audition practices, where I honed my talents alongside driven and talented peers. The dedication and perseverance of everyone involved were truly inspiring.
What struck me most about LSR was its unwavering commitment to empowering women. It was evident in every corner of the campus, from thought-provoking discussions in classrooms to empowering initiatives outside. This experience left an indelible mark on my heart and soul, and I went home everyday with a sense of purpose and a network of cherished friendships. My month at LSR was a tapestry of intellectual growth, cultural immersion, and unforgettable moments, leaving me eager to return for more in the future.
