My grandfather, who lived far away in Arunachal, was kept up to date on events in central India thanks to the radio. My parents fell in love with Bollywood tunes thanks to the radio, and it will always be a special part of their childhood and youth.

Unfortunately, our age may be the last to experience the love and history of radio. Yes, it is still played, but it is losing significance; consumers have forgotten how to enjoy the unpredictability of radios and have generally shifted to Spotify, Youtube music, and other streaming services that allow them to manage their playlists. I also believe that the quality of RJs i.e Radio Jockey, has degraded over time, the current bombardment of advertisements on radio shows, and the recent trend of starting podcasts which are accessible on many streaming platforms has also largely contributed to this. People continue to engage in the same activities as before with the radio, but now they have greater convenience and control in selecting and even creating the content they want.
