RELEVANCE OF TELEVISION
Television often called TV , the concept of transmitting moving images through a device came into being in the late 19th century. The evolution of TV technology has progressed rapidly over the years i.e from regular mechanical TV’s to smart TV’s. The first television channel in the world was British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) broadcasted from Alexandra Palace in London. The first Television channel of India was Doordarshan.
Television has not only been a source of entertainment but also has played a significant role in shaping culture, politics and society. Television continues to be relevant in today’s digital age due to its widespread accessibility, diverse content offerings, and ability to reach a broad audience.
