Those chirpy mornings, where the hustle-bustle kicked off when the radio was switched on and all family members got together, once in a blue moon,to relish the tit-bits of the radio, the hands of the clock have now mangled themselves into a phase where the radio is still in use, even if the way of consuming it has undergone a sea change. Now,i no longer restrict it’s usage to keep a hawk’s eye on events unfolding round me or to deflate my stress and relieve myself over good music chittering into my ears.Over the ears,my dependance on radio has come down massively, though i still find myself turning it on occasionally, tuning in to listen to what is music to my ears, hearing those two way conversations or to simplify it,gorging on gossips and news, while as an add-on,using it as a medium of hearing productive podcasts that intrigue me.The way of consuming radio has changed, but the core purpose for using it for me,no ,it hasn’t changed.
