Bajate Raho! Suno Sunao Life Banao! Mirchi Sunne Wale Always Khush!
Considering the fact that we even read this in the same ‘RJ’ voice, it is almost crushing to ask;
‘If Radio is still relevant?’
Even though radio gives us our ‘sweet little time’ without screens, that is widely considered its downside as well. But a radio is a box for all, with interests of everyone.
In this world of listening to events from every corner of the world, the corner that matters to us the most- is ‘ours’. Radio provides us with our local events, news and perhaps even discount offers at the local market!
With the recent integration of radio with online platforms, one can listen to their favourite talk show ur musical programme on their phones. This ‘evolution’ has if anything, increased the relevance of it.
A Radio indeed is a magic box with formats as diverse as its audience, ranging from news reports to movie reviews, talk shows to radio plays and much much more!
Being the medium of ‘storytelling’, radio has made its place in our hearts, it’s deeply etched in our daily lives just as any other piece of media.
So perhaps for another many years till a stronger alternative doesn’t swing by;
‘Radio Bajate Raho!’
