My second month in LSR has been a paradoxical blend of academic stress and outdoorsy bliss. I was fortunate enough to become a part of all the societies that I had applied to. I’m now much more familiar with the functioning of the college. In the past few weeks, I have had to confront the academic aspect of the college that I had been trying to (unsuccessfully) escape. In fact, just today I had appeared for an internal assessment test that did not go as expected. However, if there’s anything that the past two months as well as the numerous phone calls with my seniors, have taught me, it is to just take it easy and learn from every experience. Until now, everything has taken place at its own pace and most of the things have unfolded quite organically. I have also had the privilege of contributing to numerous college societies such as the college magazine and the Quiz Society. The experience was simply put, phenomenally refreshing. Two months in, one thing is for sure: making it to LSR was truly worth it. This college is quite literally a perfect symbiosis of diverse energies. You get the best of everything here. Looking forward to the numerous other experiences that LSR holds for me.
