The panel discussion on AI and Journalism shed light on the intersection of technology and media. The speakers gave an insight into how AI is revolutionizing news production. They highlighted ethical considerations and challenges faced by journalists in adopting AI and the importance of maintaining human oversight.
The panel discussion on the second day was centred on the representation of diversity in media. The panelists emphasized the significance of representing diverse voices and perspectives in newsrooms to ensure balanced and inclusive reporting. They highlighted the existing gaps and loopholes in corporate spheres and in our personal lives where the question of diversity is often overlooked. The panellists suggested initiatives like workshops in the workplace to tackle the issue of the lack of diversity.
