I learnt how to identify the 5 W’s and H in different news articles in newspapers that were both in hindi and english. This assignment taught me how to dissect a news article and identify its various components. Through this assignment I was also able to learn about attribution in news articles. We worked as groups and marked the different components in different articles. Out of all the newspapers we saw, newspaper A had 8 pages and 21 advertisements. Newspaper B had 16 pages and 12 advertisements. Newspaper C had 16 pages and 21 advertisements. Newspaper D had 24 pages and 6 advertisements. Overall through this activity we were able to put in our theoretical knowledge into practical use. I also understood the importance of teamwork and how different individuals have different opinions.
