The activity was given on 27th September, Friday. We were given two activities, the first was remaking the numbers of advertisements and recognising them as commercial or government advertisements and the second one was identifying the 5W’s(what, when, where, who, why) and 1H(how) from the articles . We were divided into groups of 4 and 5 . During our first activity I analyzed that every newspaper has a different number of advertisements. A newspaper has 8 commercial ads and 1 government ad, B has 10 commercial ads and 2 government ads, C has 9 commercial ads and 3 government ads. From this activity i learnt that commercial ads helps the brand to reflect the target audience Companies use ads to shape their brand identity, appealing to specific lifestyles or identities that resonate with consumers. And from the second activity, i learnt how an article is built and what necessary information it needed…
