This week, we studied beats and their importance. We came to know about the various areas of health beat and crime beat, what points a journalist should keep in mind. Fake news, another crucial aspect of ethical reporting was covered during the lectures. Elements of TV news bulletin, complemented with an engaging classroom activity of writing. The week was concluded with learnings about Electronic News Gathering and Electronic Field Production- that has played a huge part in making broadcast media real time and more effective.
